Welcome to St. Peter's by the Sea United Methodist Church.
We are not a large congregation, but we are a growing church that is in the midst of revitalization. There is a certain air of excitement and energy throughout the congregation.
Our mission statement is: "Making Disciples...Making a Difference," and we truly believe that we can and are making a difference in individuals, families, and the community as we lead persons toward a more mature relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
We offer opportunities for spiritual growth through various Bible Studies and outreach ministries. We are also helping to promote financial and emotional stability in families, and consequently the larger community by offering the Dave Ramsey "Financial Peace" program.
Through our affiliation with Methodist Healthcare we are able to provide a Wesley Nurse who functions as a community nurse, and a church based family counselor who is also available to the community at very reasonable rates. These are services usually available in much larger congregations.
Our congregation has been recognized for the past two years as a "Welcoming Congregation" under the denominational "Igniting Ministires" program. We believe that you will find our congregation to be a warm, caring community of believers who sincerely try to represent the denominational theme of "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors."
